Tournament History
The Upper Midwest Soccer Classic Tournament is entering its 31st year of offering a premier soccer competition in the Fox Valley. The Neenah-Menasha Noon Optimist Club and Neenah Soccer Booster Club are proud hosts of Wisconsin's longest running competitive tournament held in mid-July each year.
Participants
Approximately 5,000 visitors attend the Upper Midwest Soccer Classic Tournament each year - 40% are local teams and 60% of the teams come from beyond the Fox Valley and from out-of-state.
Regional Benefits
Our proceeds in the past have been divided between the Neenah-Menasha Noon Optiminst Club and the Neenah High School Soccer Booster Club. The Optimist Club's proceeds support various youth programs including a scholarship program (Neenah High, Menasha High, and St. Mary's Central), Youth Go, Best Friends, Boys' and Girls' Brigade, etc. The Neenah Soccer Booster Club uses proceeds to improve soccer fields and provide funding for the girls' and boys' soccer programs at Neenah High School. In addition, both orginizations direct money to the Neenah Park and Recreation Department for continual improvment of soccer fields and the park areas that host the tournament.
